FINDING HOME WITHIN OURSELVES

FINDING HOME WITHIN OURSELVES is a confrontation; a journey into the invisible weights we carry, both inherited and silently shaped. Through a series of surreal and symbolic paintings, it explores identity, suppressed femininity, and ancestral burdens, while echoing the internal battles we often hide from the outside world.

Each painting offers a glimpse into the artist’s inner landscape – raw, personal fragments that speak a universal language.

From the reclamation of womanhood in HEROINE I and HEROINE II, to the ancestral whispers of DIDAMANGISA, the generational trauma pressed into HUNDRED YEARS OF UNREST SITTING ON MY SHOULDERS, and the mental unrest exposed in UNTITLED, the works invite us to sit with discomfort, remembrance, and resilience.

This is not an exhibition that asks to be decoded, but one that asks to be felt.

FINDING HOMES WITHIN OURSELVES is about reckoning. And survival.
